Description

Slide up to 3 plates on the side of your desk without losing any space ! 

 

Designed with a firm grip to the desk to keep your plate in place with strenght, this sturdy  plate holder is what I've been looking for but couldn't find.

  • Included F3d file with a parametre to change in the “modify” tab for your own desk thickness (my desk is 18.1mm thick so is the design) the tolerance for a firm grip is already figured out, just enter your exact desk board  thickness 
  • Separate elements to save material and customize it at will, 2 different intermediate height pieces, and adaptable to your plate size, or number
  • Two orientations (wether you prefer left or right side of your desk) available straight from the F3d file to the included print profile

I know this design can be very useful, and I've put quite the effort to put the guide together and do the upload, other than designing it. If you have one of these spare boost around, it's free and it'll encourage me comming up with more of these :) 

Guide on how to adjust to your desk thickness  : 

 

1- Just hop into fusion with the included f3d file and go to MODIFY then “Change parameters”

 

2- Change the parametre expression to your exact desk board thickness in milimeters (measure it with calipper or ruler) and click ok

 

3- click the file icon and export

 

4- set your file name, format (stl is fine here) and destination (desktop is fine here)

 

5- drag and drop the file in your slicer (using the included profile is better) and right click, then split to objects,

 

separate the models you need from the others and print !
