150mm version of the Bamboo Moss Pole. Best for growing plants with a thicker root system or for growing multiple vines to create a fuller look on the moss pole.
The 90mm version is not scalable due to the tolerances of the dowels. After receiving requests from multiple users for a larger version, I've decided to offer a wider version with the same grid patterns. Enjoy, and happy growing!

The Bamboo Moss Pole (150mm) is compatible with pots that are at least 160 mm in diameter.
Using the tapered base will allow compatibility with pots with a base diameter of 120 mm.
Unfortunately this is an entirely new moss pole system and it is not compatible with my previous moss pole design.
This has a compatible watering attachment.
This model is comprised of 4 required and 1 optional parts:
Pole Version | Pole Segment Height |
Regular | 220 mm |
For A1 Mini | 170 mm |
This pole comes in a 150 mm diameter. To remove the support, simply poke a hole in the support base and tilt your piercing tool of choice to pull the support out. Depending on the quality/state of your filament it could get difficult and long nose pliers might be your best option.
Mixing function with style, the backing can be matched with 6 grid designs:
Considering standard pot sizing, 2 bases are available:
Part | Top Diameter | Base Diameter |
---|---|---|
Tapered Base | 150 mm | 120 mm |
Round Base | 150 mm | 160 mm |
NOTE: Due to various factors such as printer differences (brand, calibration, settings etc.) or filament (type, dryness, brand, calibration etc.) clearance testing is a must.
Use the clearance test plate to print the dowels with varying diameters and test it on the backing. There are trade-offs based on the clearance you choose.
Fit | Effect |
---|---|
Tight (requires pliers to insert or remove) |

Loose (easily inserted without tools) |

Optionally, one may use glue if you want to make sure that the dowel and the backings do not shift in its place.
You can find watering attachment options here: Bamboo Moss Pole (Watering Attachment). Make sure to use the 150mm version.
The following steps are suggested in order to prolong the life of your print. The option you choose depends on the material you printed with:
