Description

This lamp shade with stand is specifically designed to fit the IKEA STRÅLA 4M Cord set. 2 Styles are available when downloading the Shade profile, straight and rounded ridges. Rounded ridges takes longer to slice (3-5 minutes on a decent computer), but uses less material and prints faster.

PRINT BOTH PROFILES (separate profile for shade and stand). USE THE INCLUDED PRINT PROFILES. This print utilizes the 0.4mm nozzle, with changed layer width for printing the shade in vase mode. Stand is printed in 0.16mm layer height for a better thread fit.

The stand is universally compatible with all IKEA Strala lamps uploaded on my profile. If you don't like this design, there are alternative ones there that you might want to check out!

Assembly:

1, Let all parts cool to room temperature before assembly, apply lubricant to threads (optional)

2, Screw legs into the cylinder, in orientation where smaller hole of the cylinder is facing upwards.

3, Unscrew the small ring on the IKEA Strala socket and fit it through the bottom. The socket should now be poking through the top cylinder hole, put the Strala ring back on the socket, securing it against the cylinder. Screw in a lightbulb.

4, Fit the lamp shade from the top, so that it sits on the outer ring of the stand.

5, Use the printed screw ring to secure the shade against stand.
