Description

Integrated flights/shaft, medium length, slim style flights.

I wanted to see just how well dart flights printed at home could work.  I tried other models and printed in a variety of materials.  PLA and PETG broke immediately, however TPU printed very well and doesn't break.  The problem I am running into now is that the shaft & fins aren't rigid enough to allow the dart to fly well.  I will be experimenting with some stiffer yet flexible filament to see if I get better results.  I have also thought about modeling in a hole in the center of the shaft to insert a small diameter piece of spring steel rod.  For now, enjoy.  I will update this with results from my additional testing.

Geeetech, but I don't really like the results yet. It printed well but is not rigid enough. I will let you know this week if the newer filament I am trying works better

TPU wouldnt be the material to use as its way too soft. i would think nylon would be the strongest, PETG at the least. PLA will work but will be very brittle and break on impact of another dart or dropout
