Introduction
I designed this to fit on the center console of my '91 S10, complementing my scaled-down Flux Capacitor and Time Circuits. While it’s not screen-accurate, it’s as close as I could get while still being happy with the result. The bottom case pictured is a smaller version than the STL available for download, as I wanted mine a little smaller so not to get in the way of shfting.
I'm still making tweaks, so future updates may improve the design. In a later release, the handle will power the red and green LEDs.
The handle was initially printed in black resin, but the quality wasn’t great. I ended up using my FDM printer, and after some post-processing, it turned out much better.
I drilled holes into the switch plate stl file and bolted it to the lid instead of gluing it down.
I provided a scaled down label for the Dayton label. I printed this on self-adhesive vinyl, then found self-adhesive laminate to cover it. I also used a very thin double-sided tape to stick it down as the vinyl adhesive with the laminate wasn't strong enough
Printed in PETG with four walls and 20% infill. I've also included an acrylic mold to help shape the acrylic properly.
