This is my desktop water fountain. It is the second iteration I have modeled. This fountain uses a very basic water pump that you can purchase from amazon. All you have to do is print the files, buy the pump, hook it all up, fill it with water and watch it go. You can also include decorative rocks on the base of the fountain to make it pop and look more natural.
For the Base I printed with 2 walls and 15 percent gyroid infill. For supports I went with tree supports. Nothing special. For the Top of the fountain I printed with 3 walls and 10 percent gyroid infill. For supports I went with normal supports. The supports on for the top had a base pattern spacing of 4mm to reduce time and filament used.
After printing I coated the walls of both prints that would be exposed to water in a water proof spray. I did not trust the 3 walls lol. This also helped to reduce water adhesion to the walls of the prints. It also gave it a nice shine. The link to the pump is included down below.
I used two different filaments for the print. I printed the top out of bambu lab Matt PLA white and the base from poly lite pla grey. You can use whatever filament though to print your own model.
After printing the model, put the water distributer into the top of the water fountain to keep the water from squirting up and out of the inner basin.
