Boost Me (for free)
Thank you for boosting!
I wanted to make a fidget spinner that had a modern, restrained, non-mechanical-focused design. This prints in place in regular PLA. Just take it off the build plate and give it a spin!
Depending on your filament choice, it might take a slight amount of force to make it break free for the first spin, but it should spin freely after that.
This is an original design that I modeled totally from scratch, not a modification of someone else's existing model (see all my failed prototypes!). But I want to give a shout out to https://makerworld.com/en/@gmanprojects who inspired me to try designing this style of print and who is the originator of this style of fidget toy. If you like this sort of design and want to see how a master does it, check out his work and support him!
