Description

I use this simple model to test my plates. The example shows issues with the build plate when it's been in use for just a couple of times versus alcohol-cleaned plates. These small issues can ruin the whole print from time to time.

And this simple model (just one layer!) helps quickly understand where the problems are and how big they are. A real eye-opener for me that helped me understand when additional cleaning is necessary and when it is not (hint: alcohol clean is a MUST with expensive quality prints).

Thanks for the model, exactly what i was looking for! Now only to understand what's wrong with printer/plate...

Thank you! About your case: there can be different issues. One is that the plate is not clean enough. The white spots on the far part of the plate on your picture suggest that. To clean the plate, I use Fairy or any other dish soap. Add it to the plate, then brush it well while the soap makes bubbles touching the surface, then wash it under the stream of water until completely free of soap and then wipe it dry with a fresh piece of kitchen towel. Then, let it rest on the dryer stand (you can find it in my models) for five minutes to let the rest of the water evaporate. Very important not to touch any part of the contact area at this moment or when you will be placing it on the printer. Another method I like best is the use of isopropyl alcohol of 99%. Together with lint-free small wipes I buy on Amazon. Spray with alcohol, then wipe till it's dry (alcohol evaporates much quicker) and put it on the printer. The second option is much easier and stable, but the first one is ok too - I used it many times, and it worked.

Another possible issue is the settings for your particular filament: always switch on the Dynamic Flow calibration when printing with new material and ensure you've checked the temperatures of the filament. Also, there may be an issue with the over-extrusion. This case I am not familiar with and can't provide any advice except that you google your filament and printing settings for the Bambu Lab printer. Most likely, there is somebody on the internet who shared their settings on Reddit or somewhere else.
