Description

Fully Painted AMS 4 Color Print with Fallout Logo.

I've had the Fallout Anthology on my shelf for years and many friends have said how much they want one, or more specifically, to have a mini-nuke. I could tell one of my friends was really gutted to not get one for Christmas (again, 7 years running) so I decided to make it. This is my take on the painted mini-nuke from the Fallout Anthology, with a custom Fallout Logo. If you want to dab it with a sponge with some brown and red paint to make it look rusty, go for it! I imagine this is how they looked straight out of the factory, and you'd possibly even find a clean one in the Fallout Universe somewhere that looks identical to it haha

Printed with eSun Olive Green, eSun Yellow, eSun Red and Bambu Iridium Gold Metallic. If you want to use Silver instead, go for it!

Lastly, I've done a last minute redesign of the logo and included it in the file. I realized that it would be better this way when I saw it printing.

Please like and share and enjoy!!!!

If you'd like to buy me a coffee to support this and future projects, I'd really appreciate it!  https://www.buymeacoffee.com/faran3d

Overall it's amazing! Had some problems with the supports falling off, but that is a me problem not the print profile. Going to give it another go soon.

Looks great, very military spec with those colors. Good luck with the second attempt at printing, be sure and have excellent bed adhesion - a fresh wash (twice) with dish soap and dried with a paper towel usually sorts out issues like that!

I am suffering from the same problem. The back left support keeps failing. Did you ever find a solution for this? Was it just thorough cleaning? Unfortunately burned through a whole $20 spool of filament lol

No. I have never gotten around to trying it again. Glue stick was going to be my solution tho.

It is a very long print, but well worth it for any Fallout fan.

Long but easy print. Next time I'll probably print fins separately

this was great like i said on my rating. i wanted some clips to hold it together so i took some and reworked them to fit this profile. i connected them with my 3D pen but what i think i might do is actually attach then with a program to also print on the file.

Cool solution! I think I would prefer a thread to screw them together as it would be more streamlined and easier to print, but I definitely like what you did there! I'm actually just realising that while I can't modify this design due to the change of license there is a way I can circumvent that and still make improvements so I'll get that done now!

the reason i wanted the clips is im going to use this at my paintball field as a live prop so the clips are easier to open especially in battle

printed great. i would suggest some clips on the sides to lock it together. I'm printing some right now so that the middle can lock together. I'm going to be using this at my local paintball field for a game prop. i like the top also unscrews

cheers! sadly the original designer changed the license of the model shortly after I remixed it and I was unable to make any more improvements but I think it’s time to design one from scratch with better proportions that match the game. I’ll definitely ensure there won’t be any seams without a connection, I was adding threads to the middle when it was locked down

Printed on Bambu Lab A1. Red filament (polymaker lava red) and yellow filament (polymaker Savannah Yellow) and the metal is a filament from Clas Ohlson and lastly the green (Copymaster3D matte olive green). Longest print i done, but totally worth it. Thank you!☢️🙂
