Description

Valentine’s Day Candle-Making Set

Looking for a new, romantic, and meditative hobby? Maybe you or your partner have always wanted to try candle-making. This set has everything you need to get started!

Originally, I designed this as a gift for my amazing girlfriend. But since we both love 3D printing, she happily agreed to share it with the world!

What’s Included:

This set consists of:

  • Four test molds (Greek column, two cats with a heart, a bear, and a tulip)
  • A mold table (pad) to help position the wick while the wax solidifies
  • A tulip assembly pad for easier construction
  • Modular storage for different waxes (expandable with M3 bolts)
  • A large storage box for tools and extra materials (in raw files)

How to Use the Molds:

Greek Column (Easy Level) – Cut along the edges with a scalpel for easier candle removal. Secure the mold with tape while working.

Two Cats with Heart (Easy Level) – Be extra careful with the delicate tails. For a two-tone effect, pour the main wax color first, let it set, then fill the heart with a different color. Lubricating the mold with oil can help with extraction.

Bear (Medium Level) – This mold has four parts. To prevent breakage, make small cuts in the thinnest sections of the largest part before pouring the wax. Let the candle cool completely before removing it—this one takes time!

Tulip (Hard Level) – The most complex mold, with six parts for the bud, four for the stem, and two for the pot. Get creative with colors! A great effect is to pour different colors into the bud mold sections, let them set, then assemble and fill with another shade for a gradient. Use the tulip assembly pad to carefully connect the stem and "plant" everything in the pot.

Storage & Extras:

The modular storage system can be expanded as needed using M3 bolts. The large box holds all your essential tools—pipettes, syringes, scissors, nippers, gloves, a gas burner, gas, essential oils, and of course, your molds!

Now, just grab some wax, get creative, and enjoy the candle-making experience!

Maybe many people don't get it. But it just proves that creative models are much more impressive than a bunch of repetitive and similar models! Well done. Keep up the good work.

Thank you!!! Two things I want to point out for better results: 1.) Make a lot of cuts in molds, so you can take it off (Secure with tape). 2.) Wax shrinks as it cools and you'll have to add some periodically.

Glad to hear! Since I was super close to the contest deadline, I wasn't able to write a super precise description, so, if you need any help, hit me up. Two things I want to point out for better results: 1.) Make a lot of cuts in molds, so you can take it off (Secure with tape). 2.) Wax shrinks as it cools and you'll have to add some periodically.
