This is a manual focus tool to help you focus your CO2 laser. It is intended for use with the Trotec Speedy 100 laser cutter, marker, engraver. The focus tool can be adjusted for use with focus lenses with 1.5 inch (38.1mm), 2 inch (50.8mm), and 2.5 inch (63.5mm) focal lengths. The tool has markings for the approximate focal length of each lens, but the exact calibration should be set for each lens using the calibration technique for the Speedy 100. 

The tool is used to focus the laser by hanging the tool from the lens assembly on the laser. The laser bed and material to be cut / marked / engraved is then raised with the Z axis control until it comes in contact with the laser focus tool. At this point, the focal point has been reached.
