A growing number of my models (particularly those in my Passive Magnetic Stabilization collection) require or benefit from a magnet insertion tool. It helps ensure correct polarity (north vs. south) and also helps prevent magnets stealthily flipping as you insert them.
While other such tools are available, I created my own because some of my models are easier to assemble with a finer tipped tool. Rather than continue to include this tool in my new models, this listing will be my go-to link.
Print the tool and then stick one 4x2 mm magnet into each end (glue shouldn’t be necessary), ensuring proper polarity. While you can verify absolute polarity, it won’t matter for most projects so long as both ends of the tool are opposite. Press firmly against a flat surface to fully push in the magnet.
