This is a phone holder that is made for situations where you need to film something with your phone but you need both hands free.
 

It is particularly handy when shooting an instruction video of an assembly process, using both hands for the assembly while seeing everything on the screen at the same time. Important to know what you are filming while shooting the video.
 

I´ve also used this device to film my table tennis practices.
 

It´s very easy to setup and adjust the correct angles and so on.
 

There is an extension rod if you need to get the shot more from above, but typically I don´t have to use it.
 

Everything prints easy on one plate and the hinged part is “print in place” and don´t need any assembly of the hinge.
 

I made an instruction in .pdf format.
 

I also made Youtube videos that show how to use it but also how to assemble the adjustment knobs.
 

The primary camera position is 4:3 (horizontal phone) but if needed, it works putting the phone in vertically (3:4) since there is a spring pressing the phone in position. The only drawback with vertical phone position is that thin horizontal bar that covers a small part of the screen, but it is no problem to what is needed to see in order to get the angles right.
