Description

This is a compact tight-fitting case for a Mitutoyo 150mm caliper. It also holds two spare batteries. It can be printed without supports. Print shown was with a generic PLA, .4mm nozzle with .2mm layer height.

For the hinge I designed it to use 4 M4x35 fully threaded screws which screw in firmly and provide a firm and reliable hinge.

Update 02/26: slight change to remove an interference in the hinge. Also added V02 model which changed the location of the latch.

looks like a great model, would it be easy to generate a version for the 200mm caliper?

If I had a 200mm caliper model I'd be able to create a version for it. I'll see if I can find one to modify this model.

cool. if its helpful here is a photo. looks likely identical to the 150 except for the length of the blade. on the 200, the blade extends 215mm and the overall length of the entire tool is 290mm.

I have created the model of a case that should fit your caliper. I'm 99% sure that your caliper isn't a genuine Mitutoyo for a number of reasons, but the model I created should fit yours. If you message me I can send it to you.
