• Ensure the build plate is clean; regular cleaning is recommended! Oil residue from hand contact significantly reduces adhesion. Similarly, previous print debris or minute remnants affect first-layer quality, reducing yield.
• Dry your filament; this significantly impacts print quality and experience! Prolonged storage makes filament susceptible to moisture. If stringing occurs, consult the manufacturer for drying parameters. Most filaments aren't dried before packaging; thus, newly opened spools may be slightly damp, necessitating pre-printing drying.
• When using a new filament brand, perform filament flow calibration immediately and adjust calibration coefficients. This greatly enhances print quality and is crucial for integrating the new filament with your printer.
• If print quality suddenly deteriorates or yields decrease, check for nozzle clogging and recalibrate your printer if necessary.
• Print at the recommended speed specified in the model instructions. Overhang quality is directly related to print speed. Appropriate speed (neither too fast nor too slow) provides sufficient cooling time during deposition.
