I used 22mm metal rods, the holes are slightly too large for the rod but it fits perfectly I used 60cm pipes on 2 holders and could place 9 KG of filament on them

Printed 3, all went well. Holding 48" of dowel (purple end in the states) with 15 rolls of filament as we speak. Will print more I am sure :)
