“Please. Have mercy. I’ve been wearing the same underwear since Tuesday.” —Neal Page,   Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)

Here is a selection of diamond plate pattern switch and outlet cover plates.  I'm providing each its own profile.  They all have cavities on the back to provide clearance during installation.  This make supports necessary, but Ive found them to be easy to remove.

You can find more wall plates in the collection of my hardware models here: https://makerworld.com/en/collections/3121074

Could you give me a little more information on what the fit problem is? My test print was a perfect fit here, so I need to know what it is I should adjust on it. Thanks.

I printed the double standard switch cover. It came out great, but unfortunately the back cavity is not deep enough to clear the top and bottom screws that secure the actual switches to the wall via the brackets they are in. This causes the corners of the plate to stick out from the wall which isn't ideal. Still totally functional and I will still use it, but figured I'd mention it. Could be an issue just for me; I may try and tinker with it to make a deeper cavity.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunatley switches can vary. The switches all have 'ears' on the top and bottom that can be removed by bending them back and forth with a pliers to give you more clearance. Or you could try using flat head screws, which is what the ones in my house have. Somewhere along the line they changed from flathead to roundhead. Or...I could change all the models. I might do that, but it will take me a while. Here's a pic of what I described trying to get more clearance.

Thanks for the tip, I took a closer look and I do have the round head screws. I may look for some more flush fitting hardware... I think that would probably completely solve or trivialize the issue. I'll make a note if I get around to it. thanks for your work.

Other Issues: Doesn’t fit

Do the switches not fit in the openings? Or are the screw holes off? I want to fix it, but need more detail. I used the manufactures dimensions and compared it to a cover and switches I have here and can't see where the problem is. Thanks.

I just checked it again. The outlets fit fine and the screw dimension is really close. The specification is 1.81 inches.
