Description

I modeled this simple 5x2 Gridfinity bin to hold three boxes of standard filament refill from Bambu Labs and keep them aligned. Note that filament with spool boxes don't fit, as they are a bit wider.

I’m just curious what’s the purpose of these? I’m missing something? wouldn’t these make access to behind row tougher? I feel like you’d be better of ditching the gridfinity here. right?

My workshop wall is uneven so when I push the boxes against it they get increasingly angled and don't pack as nicely. As for the row behind, you're right: it's harder to access. However, in my setup I'm using one color per column, so the row behind is only used for "backup" and it gets promoted to the first row once it becomes empty.

I wish I had enough filament for this to be useful
