Fun design spool adapter for sunlu mini 250g spools.

current mini spool compatibility:

SUNLU -adapter needed

TOYBOX -adapter needed

AMOLEN -adapter and spacer needed

ERRYONE -adapter and spacer needed

OVV3D - adapter and oww3d/isanmate 

iSANMATE -adapter and oww3d/isanmate spacer

 

*Please note if the threads are a little bit hard to screw together just unscrew and screw it a few times and it will be perfectly fine.

 

*Make sure the spool is tight enough around the mini spool to where the mini spool has no movement.

 

*i have ran many test prints on this and after the first layer is done you can jump the print speed up to ludarcis mode and it will print perfectly fine if you're in a rush to have them

 

*this works with only the sunlu and same diameter mini spools it will not work for the 200g ones the inner diameter is bigger. I am working on another part to add to these so it can be universal for all mini spools i should have an updated print profile for the second attachment but for the mean time this works for the sunlu mini spools only!

The idea is sound but when you're relying on friction it makes it very hard to change out spools. If you went to a notch system, then it wouldn't be so difficult. I spent a lot of time, elbow grease and WD40 trying to get the spool unscrewed after attaching the adapter everything was so tight that it had formed a seal.
