I have crafted a sliding-lid box incorporating a secure latch mechanism.

Its merits include a refined, rectilinear exterior profile, ensuring completely planar upper and lower surfaces. The side latches remain flush with the box's surface, eliminating issues such as an overhanging lid.

Conversely, the lid exhibits a relatively substantial thickness, a characteristic shared by the two walls incorporating the guiding rails.

This design serves as a valuable reference for creating similar latch-style boxes, with dimensions readily adaptable to specific requirements.

The model was constructed using Bambu PLA Matte filament; however, compatibility with most PLA filaments is anticipated.
