This Articulated Koi Fish is designed to flow gracefully with 4 jointed segments. The textured details provide great sensory input, making it a fun and soothing fidget piece. My painted example in my images are hand painted, however I've included an AMS profile for an AMS painted scale design.

beautiful design. do you think it is safe to reduce the scale of the multicolor AMS file while maintaining the same quality? 199g is quite a chunk of filament, especially when the majority of that is waste. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. amazing work!

hello! I am not the creator, but if you print multiple at once, it will reduce the waste! it will take more filament in total, but the waste will be the same no matter how many you print! another thing you can do is add another object onto the plate in Bambu studio, right click the item, and tell Bambu to fill the object and it's infill with the purged filament rather than pooping it!

To the other advice lovebob shared - Look into calculating flushing volumes manually. Thats how I keep my poop low!

Really nice it came out very nice. I just had to keep an eye first time printing multiple colors. The printer pooped a lot between changing colors.

it’s crazy how much poop. I try to print multiples, so it’s not quite so bad. I made a poop bin only to realize that it fills up in minutes.

pulling it into the slicer and changing purge volume to .7 will drastically improve waste and time

Very beautiful, but my mistake was I don't print more, because poo is like amount of the fishes. Again very beautiful 😍. Tank you.

Done some at 50% for my wife to take to work for kids that come in the ER. Had to modify it just a little because of the sharp fin on top. Don't want the kids to hurt themselves. Should help them feel a little better when having a bad day.

These came out so beautifully!! We printed this at 52%. The articulation is a little stiff since scaled down, but still secure.
