Description

Acquiring the Master Sword in Zelda A Link to the Past is very memorable moment in the Zelda series. This model allows you to capture that moment and display it!

A 0.2mm nozzle will work best for printing Link since it's pretty small. The models in the pictures above were printed with a 0.4mm nozzle.

There are 2 models provided. One model contains a background and allows you to display the print in a 3"x3"x3" acrylic cube. I purchased a 12 pack found here. The other model does not contain the background.

Model was designed to have a little waste as possible. Link was designed to be printed with 8 colors using a single AMS, the model consists of 2 prints that push together to create a single model.

Love this! I make paper versions of various scenes like this and would love to see more 3D printer versions! Mario games, Pokemon scenes, etc. I didn't realize until I printed that the boxes O have in hand are larger so will have to get some smaller ones as well.

Thanks! I use Fusion for modeling. This one i sketched out first and extruded mostly. Link was fairly difficult since it needed to be 2 separate, small models for the 8 colors, finding a way to combine the printed models, and reducing the amount of color changes. Just need to do a little planning ahead of time and prototype. Find something you're excited about and learning how to use Fusion becomes easy.

I bought the acrylic boxes you suggested, and printed everything. I was impressed with how well the little Link came out with my 0.4 nozzle, but the base didn't quite fit in the acrylic box and adding pressure just cracked the box. I'm going to resize the base slightly and reprint and see if I can get it to fit. :)
