Description

I was looking for a good, simple firetruck to print for my son but wasn't satisfied with what I found, so I made my own!

This is my first Print-in-Place model so feel free to give me some feedback. Printed it pretty extensively though and it seems to work great!

Some parts on the ladder require a bit of force to get free initially, but once they're free they should move pretty smoothly.

i printed it, max size 1.5kg of filament and Colored it. supports are a bit of pain but its doublet! i can share the files so everyone can print. also for AMS 4 color amazing my kid will love it!!!

I came here asking if it's possible to scale it up since it's quite fragile and then I saw this, this is epic! Did you "just scale it up"? I'm always worried about the tolerances. Mine would be single colour so was thinking of just scaling the original to like 400% or something.

This looks awesome!! Nice work! Here's some feedback/suggestions: 1. You ought to consider making the axles thicker; if they break, those wheels could be a choking hazard. 2. I think you have the opportunity to incorporate a cab interior. Lose the windshield and windows; the window pillars can be bridged. If it were me, I'd upload two designs separately; one intricate design and the other tailored to toddlers. 3. This could seriously be an awesome dimensional accuracy print! You should check out "Marky" and "Bobby". I'm not claiming they're perfect but may give you some ideas! Again, awesome clever design! Are you meaning to reply to me about the planes or @eZaFs about the firetruck? Yes, totally possible to color them just didn't want all the filament poop! If you want them colored I can color them.👌

hi! reacted on you both, haha im now making a very big firetruck Color. if u can u can make coloured for me that would be awesome, also biggest size. i want to hang that in my daughters room on the cealing! thanks, otherwise i go colour my own style, i can send the definitie file. this firetruck is now a print of 80 hours on p1s lol haha

Great looking design but a bit fragile at it's current size. Also the lines in the windows are really apparent.

I printed this with a Z-axis height of 80mm, and it functioned without any issues.
