A small airpump powered protein skimmer that I designed for my pico-marine tank.

The airline goes into the base and into a limewood airstone.

There's a cup to capture the skimate which incorporates an overflow hose barb. The overflow hose barb does not penetrate into the skimate cup, as it's on optional, so just needs drilling through if required. The idea is the overflow can go into a separate container so as to increase the skimate capacity.

There are hose clips on the side of the top and bottom clips for holding the airline. It's skinny enough to fit in the filter chamber at the back of my tank.

There are holes in in the side of the clips which are intended for cable ties if the clips do not hold the tube securely enough.

The top clip can slide up and down the tube to adjust the skimming height.
