Description

i've lose the battery cover for my flexfit remote for a long time. still functionaly as a remote, and I tend to use my phone to control my bed anyway, but it annoys me for not having the battery cover, so I measured the dimensions and remodeled the cover

if you want to print this, make sure you print with PETG, as it requires small pieces to be somewhat flexible in order to fit, and my attempts with PLA all ended up with failures (the locking part snaps inside the remote)

also make sure you do NOT print this belly-up, as it will rely solely on layer adhesion to hold the latch part in place, which will tend to fail if you use it over and over.

printed nicely, the supports were a little challenging to get off at first, but I was super excited to finally have a battery cover again! Thanks!

Thanks for an awesome start. I printed this out, but I had issues where it was way too loose-fitting (used PETG to print it). I opened up the .STL, moved the 'latch' portion a bit closer to its edge, and now its fit is much better. Thank you!

This is exactly what I'm looking for, I think! However, the downloadable 3mf files here on MakerWorld seem to be empty. I'm not sure if it's just PrusaSlicer trying to be too smart for its own good, but it reports that the "Object size appears to be zero. … This object has been removed from the model." I've tried extracting the model using online 3mf to STL converters to no avail, too. Would you be able to share the model as an STL, please?

the mode uploaded to the site is slightly too short, and the battery cover slides around a bit in it. I lengthened it a tad, and slide the latch back a bit, printed w PETG, works excellent!
