I decided to design a Dell 130W Charger Case for when I travel as I feel like my charger cable is just a mess on the bottom of my slim backpack, taking up more space than needed. I wanted a way to easily store my charger when traveling but didn't want to use a generic “box” to store it in.
My design's dimensions are roughly [2.91" x 2.35" x 5.95"] which is possible by storing both cables from the block in the same area (see images). In order to remove the block from the case, there are holes on the bottom to allow the block to be pushed out since it is flush at the top. The slot for the block is snug enough for the charger to not fall out but not too tight to cause clearance issues. Please keep in mind that overtime the block may have scuff marks caused by the snugness of the case. However I have not seen any damage to my charger and if so, they would be purely aesthetic.
In order to put the case on, there are 2 long notches on the side of the primary charger holder. It is a simple as aligning the top of the shroud and then sliding the shroud over the notches for minimal noise. Note that if you do need to slide the shroud up and down to get the notches in, it will be a little louder as you are sliding across layer lines causing a whining noise. To open, simply remove the shroud from bottom up so notches are released first.

My design was inspired by 3DecodeLab's Dell 65W Charger Holder but was created from scratch.
