Description

Stackable Coffee Coasters

This coaster set was designed from scratch by me, inspired by a wooden version I saw. I thought it would be a great idea to model and 3D print it, giving others the opportunity to have it in a material of their choice, rather than just wood.

I printed my version using PLA, but it can be printed in other materials as well. The total printing time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes per coaster.

        💡 Printing Recommendation:
I highly recommend using the 0.26mm layer height profile, as I find it looks great on this coaster set, offering a nice balance between speed and surface quality.

🛠 Assembly & Tips:

  • No additional tools needed except superglue and 4 small cylindrical magnets (⌀6mm x 1.5mm).
  • The magnets (my own addition to the design) help keep the Pillar attached to the Base, ensuring a secure and tidy storage solution.

Perfect for Cups & Glasses

  • Designed to hold both cups and glasses.
  • Stackable design for easy storage.
  • Includes a hole for easy transport and handling.

       ABOUT PRINTING PROFILES

Standard Print Profile (Single Material) 🖨️

This profile is designed for users who want to print using only one material while maintaining decent support structures. It uses:
0.2mm layer height (standard quality)
Top Z distance: 0.1mm
Interface spacing: 0.3mm

While this profile is functional, I strongly recommend using the second profile for superior surface quality between the support interface and the printed part.

Enhanced Print Profile (Easy-to-Remove Supports) 🌟

This profile provides excellent surface quality at the interface between the supports and the printed part, making support removal much easier. It features:
0.26mm layer height (optimized for efficiency)
Support/raft interface in PETG
Top Z distance: 0mm
Top interface layers: 1 (for minimal filament purge)
Top interface spacing: 0mm

🚀 Why use this profile?

  • Minimal filament purge (does not require a Prime Tower)
  • Efficient and easy to use
  • Delivers outstanding print quality

For the best results, I highly recommend trying this second profile! Let me know your experience! 🎯

Enjoy a practical and stylish way to protect your surfaces! Let me know if you print it – I’d love to see your results! 🚀
