PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!!

Version 3 of my fully 3d printed duck call that performs just as good as the others! Main body can be printed at .2mm using PLA with 30% infill. I recommend printing the reeds at .1mm because they are so thin. This variant is very similar to the other 2 on the internals, but the outside design is quite a bit different. This call feels very nice in the hands and quite comfortable on the lips!

IMPORTANT:
I have attached two variants for the wedge to this upload. The thicker of the two is meant to be printed using TPU, as that is a flexible material which will give you the best sounding results. There is also a thinner, shaved down option which will allow you to print using a hard material like PLA. It should give you a near perfect fit, and resolve the issue in the V2 design where the tone board support was snapping off.

I've done quite a bit of tinkering with the reed design and I have attached a few of the best sounding variant to this post for you guys to try out! The tone, volume, and raspiness of the call will be different with each of the reeds. Personally for me, the one on the far left has been working out best in my calls. You can also just throw an actual duck call reed and cork in there if you want to.

There are many different styles of calls, and they can be modified to meet most needs/wants. I can model different top pieces by request! I will continue to attempt to improve this model and upload new models in the future!

I have really enjoyed these. I have given one to my kid and he loves it and plan on giving a few to my dad as a gift. He’s a bird hunter and will think these are neat.

Works great! Not a perfect mallard, but with the squared off reed it can be used to make a very convincing diver duck chuckle!

No idea why I printed a duck call as I have no need for one but... It makes noise and annoys the dog, so thumbs up for me

Printed body in PLA-metal colors. Reeds and wedge as PETG and also the other TPU wedge. Tried the hard plastics first, and didn't really have a good sound. Tried to put the TPU wedge in and it broke the body tab. It may be a hair too big. I'll have to retry these not using the 15% infill I accidentally printed. I'd only noticed this after starting the print

not a bad call. doesn’t sound the greatest, but I feel you can only do so much with 3D printing the Reed. great job overall.

Yeah there are definitely some limitations when it comes to 3d printing
