Description

I'm excited to share my small Pillow Heart Trinket Box with you. I designed it to resembles a cozy pillow in the shape of a heart. It's perfect for storing small treasures, like jewelry, keepsakes, or any little items that deserve a special spot.

I've included a few variations for both the lid and the body of the box. For the lid, you can choose between a version with printed “tufts” or a version with flat spots where you can add your own touch using glue-on pearls, gems, or other decorations. When printed at the normal scale, these flat spots are designed for 6 mm diameter pearls or gems, offering a simple way to personalize your box. Check out the pictures for an example where I used adhesive 6 mm pearls.

For the body, there's an option with a "puffy" design, maintaining the pillowy look, or one with sleek, flat walls for a more minimalist appearance.

I would recommend printing the lid vertically at a small angle with a raft underneath, as it is in the default profile. This is very important to give it smooth appearance, avoid “banding” between layers, and hide places where the lid touches supports. This looks precarious, but I did not have any issues printing it in this orientation on my A1 mini on the default speed using PEI textured plate.

I hope you find as much joy in printing and customizing it as I did in designing it. Thank you for checking it out, and happy printing!

I printed three of these. The first darker red one is out of Eryone Galaxy Glitter Red PLA and the pictures don't do it justice. The other two are out of Pinball Tri-color silk PLA Golden/Red/Puple. I printed 2 of those because the lid orientation on the first one had it looking all gold which was weird, so I did it again changing the orientation lid to match the tri-color flow. This is such a fun well designed print. I only tweaked a few settings when I printed it. Thank you for sharing it!

If the Eryone galaxy glitter red is better than the pictures I can barely wait to get it. Thank you for posting those pictures and again for the filament information. Just had to repeat it, lol. I wish more people would. Sometimes it really matters, lol.

Can I please ask what filament you used for the darker one in your photos, that looks to work really well?

Hi! The darker one is Bambu PLA Crimson Red Sparkle (13200). For comparison, the lighter one is Bambu PLA Scarlet Red Matte (11200).

Sorry to hear this. Not sure if it helps you, but it also looked really nice made in Spectrum Transparent Red PETG as well - It is not sparkly, but even glossier, giving somewhat similar shine. Sadly I gave away those boxes before taking photos. On the attached picture on the left is Crimson Red Sparkle (honestly, to me it looks more like Vermilion), Spectrum Transparent Red PETG in the middle, Bambu Scarlet Red Matte on the right. Sorry for random models I had in those colors.

Can't tell you how impressed I am. I had already seen many great reviews with results proven by pictures. I've seen this printed in many wonderful colors. I printed from the app, which I don't often do anymore. I like adjusting the size, adding color if needed, etc. But it was late & I couldn't sleep. I knew this printer wasnt in use. I didn't even spend much thought on color. It turned out as great as your pictures & the pictures of others. But my highest praise is for the support for the lid!

I cannot overstate how thrilled I was with the lid (which printed vertically, not flat or at an angle) at the area the supports connected. don't hesitate to print because it uses supports. I will be printing additional copies in more thought out colors. And I will post pictures of those as well. I used Bambu Labs dual color filament in Neon City (blue/magenta).
