Description

I have made this fun motorcycle helmet holder of my favorite L.E.G.O movie character

I printed the head in Black PETG and the hardhat from Mat red PLA, and painted the head with yellow paint

Hardhat has 4 support underneath the brim as it isnt completly flat

I suggest printing the parts in the color you want for better results, i have yet to figure out how to make eyes and mouth different colours with AMS so that is up to you to figure out, or you can paint it yourself

You will need to print the part thats mounted to the wall seperatly as i didnt design that, but and only the head ornament

Name for wall mounted piece: Helmet Holder Helmhalter. By Minus97

what is the point of the "Frigg off coin" under the hat?

Thats so i can lift the hat a bit of the plate, so i can get supports underneath The hat isnt completly flat underneath, and the print turns to spaghetti if the hat doesnt have supports under the curved part The curve is very small so no room for supports unless it is lifted up a bit

ah makes sense, im still new to bambu studio / orca. Cura allows for free floating objects so that it can auto-generate support underneath.

Yep i was getting quite frustrated with not being allowed to make it float and having to start new prints when it inevitably would screw up 😅
