The Desk Edge Sky Drawer

Still trying to declutter and neaten my desk so that I only have the essentials on display. Decided to get rid of my normal desk drawers and get a bit more space by designing a Large Floating drawer that attaches to the edge of the desk and holds plenty of stuff while looking neat and tidy. This one is 235mm wide  x 75mm Tall x 120mm Depth, which was about as big as I could get it and still have the floating effect I was looking for.

Printed out of Bambu Labs PLA metal, it consists of 4 pieces, the drawer, the holder , the bolt and a topper for the bolt. Ideally you would want to put a small rubber piece under the part that grips the desktop to stop slipping and aid with grip. I printed a TPU matt and have included the file in case you want to use it.  Mine stays in place and has no movement when opening and closing the drawer. 

The bolt topper just rests on top of the bolt but can be glued onto it if you wish, its not necessary though. Don't overtighten the bolt as this could potentially crack the frame.

These are not designed for heavy stuff and will sag slightly if too much weight is put in them.

You get a small catch all or display base at the bottom of it.
