Designed this nifty "boot/shoe/glove dryer rack" to dry out my families ski boots and gloves, but it works great with regular shoes as well.

It drys incredibly well…perfect for those outdoor enthusiasts that play (or work) in the snow or rain. 

As your homes forced air heater works through the night, your boots/shoes/gloves should be dry and ready for the next day!

As of now this is only designed to work with 4"x10" floor vents. Be sure to measure your vents before you print!

Simply print the main vent model, then slide on the vent borders for added floor support and a super clean look. Lastly, print out the vent adapters and plugs.

If you have shoes or boots too big to slide on with all 8 adapters installed, no worries, just untwist any adapters to make space and use the plugs to cover those holes.

When I dry my ski boots, I just slide them on top of 4 adapters per boot. I can also make it work with 2 adapters per boot if I slide them down on the 2 outder edge adapters, allowing me to dry my ski gloves at the same time.

FAQs

Q. The main vent part is sitting partially on top of the purge line…uhhh wtf?

A. Ya this is a tight fit for the plate size… don't worry it will print just fine over this existing purge line.

Q. Why is there a ring above the lock tabs on the vent adapter part?

A. The weight of ski boots specifically can be pretty heavy…if the boots lean or if there is any pressure, this keeps the adapter stable and solid by resting on top of the main vent print. Tree support is required for this to print correctly.

Q. Do I have to use the vent plugs?

A. No, these are optional. You can leave any holes open to heat your home.  That being said, if you use the plugs, you'll get more air pressure into what you want to dry.

Q. What material should I print this with?

A. I printed this in PETG. I'm sure PLA would be fine as long as you're thermostat is not set to 90 degrees.
