Tested using 40mm outer diameter water pipes, printed with ABSASA material, featuring five walls, and capable of supporting approximately 40kg. Two-week testing revealed no deformation.
Construction Recommendations:
Three sizes are provided: Small Gap – smallest hole, tightest connection. Standard – medium hole, connection suitable for most materials. Large Gap – largest hole, loosest connection. Dimensional variations exist between prints made with different materials; therefore, print and test assemble a standard connector section first (currently, Bing ABSASA is known to be compatible with the small gap).
Avoid using materials prone to creep (such as Bing PETG-LS), and refrain from using PLA (most PLA is not robust enough). PETG or ABS are recommended printing materials.
Glue reinforcement is recommended for all connections except the support connector and water pipe connections. For water pipe insertion points, apply a small amount of glue to the very end to prevent solidification before proper installation.
