I recommend printing with PETG and a 0.4 nozzle

The comb is specially designed with a subtle triangular form to enhance its durability and prevent breakage.

The comb's handle features specially designed nubs to minimize wobbling during extension and use.

The butterfly comb can be assembled using the Z-bracket screws; the holes are sized for three-millimeter screws.

Ensure the screws are correctly inserted during assembly; they should not protrude excessively and should be tightened with slight pressure. Tighten the screws firmly, then slightly loosen them if the comb is too stiff and does not move properly, as shown in the image.

To install the locking mechanism, you will need a 5-6mm wide lever—a small piece of wood—to gently press on the inner sides, as illustrated.

Please refer to the images for print orientation to minimize support structures. Use 33% tree supports and select the “tree thin” setting. Please take your time removing the supports post-printing, as this can be somewhat fiddly. I apologize for the inconvenience, but there is no other way to ensure the proper functionality of the folding comb; I also struggled with it, but proper implementation ensures optimal functionality of the folding comb.
