Description

****PTFE TUBE RETAINER GUIDE***

I either am a typical dude, and am HORRIBLE at finding things…or, somehow this PTFE Tube Retainer Guide just was NOT on Maker World.

I wanted some more of these, to help guide my tubes from my AMS (since it is now mounted ABOVE my A1 Mini, and the tubes come downward now), but just could NOT find one just like the ones that comes with the A1's.

Pretty qquick reverse engineering, and BAM! PTFE Retainer Guides!

Feel free to let me know if you like em, or what I could do better!

No problem, a simple, quick, and useful print. Printed with generic PLA settings.

I like these things, they work to clip to the ptfe tubes - but do slide around a bit. Could use a zip tie or something (and may do that) but for now they just follow the path of least resistance. Anyway, thank you, I can make this work!

Thanks for this! I replaced some ptfe tubes with longer tubes and needed more cable guides. Found this (I think it's the only one out there), decreased it by 10% for a more snug fit and they're awesome!!

Well I am glad you like it, and truly appreciate the feedback! So you are thing, the design needs to be shrunken down about 10% to make the tubes fit tighter in?

In my case yes, I was using ptfe tubes I bought off Amazon. I tried 100% first then did a 95%/90%/85% and 90% was the best fit for my setup :)

Ok, appreciate the feedback! I do keep hearing that it needs to be shrunk down by 10%, so I will try and update the file soon.
