So this is a super labor intensive way to make a QR code. It is the most reliable way I've seen thus far, however. It's a grid of individual objects that can be hand painted in the slicer to make whatever pattern you need. It can be done in about 20 minutes if you're focused.
Best prints are when you scale the model to pixels of 0.8mm or greater - there are 37x37 of them.
