Description

Onion storage dispener for two kinds of onions. Other things could also be stored of course :)

Update: See last two pics - Added two print profiles. One is scaled at 130%, which many has printed. The second is modular with base and case, plus an optional divider. This way you can print in several colors and it makes cleaning the base abit easier. It does fit quite tightly, so it requires little bit of patience to get in and out! :)

I believe it is filthy to store something that isn’t onion—not physically filthy, but morally filthy. Only the lowest, most uncultured scum would store anything but onion in the onion dispenser. Creator, do not try to let this behavior pass just for the sake of more downloads; this is a proud and mighty onion only storage.

I would personally never store anything other than onions, of course! :D

Other Issues:Printed twice and twice the same default in the back. The overall back isn't perfect either

same for me - I did use PETG-HF tho so I guess with these thin walls I should have anticipated more edge warping?! I will try again because I like the model

Did you use PLA? I've printed several and never seen this issue. I suppose it could be made thicker and printed at a smaller layer height, but print time would be much longer. Let me know if you want me to slice a new model with a thicker back! :)

Printed well, supports came out very easily. I probably needed to size up for all my oversized onions (who knew?) and I’m going to attempt a version with no middle divider for the sweet potatoes next.

i can scale it up to Max the a1 build plate and remove the middle divider for a potato dispenser if you’d like! :)

I’ll make it with a detachable base, I think potatoes might be dirtier than onions so cleaning is necessary. I’ll let you know when it’s uploaded here! :)

Did you try the 130% version? It maximizes the 256mm build plate :D

The larger one printed at 130%. Now the larger onions have some room to fall down and grab them at the bottom. Because it is in a cupboard I printed it at 0.24 layer height. This made the quality a bit less but it remains functional. Here in the picture you can see what the difference in size is between the two. Thanks for the design!

Very handy. I'vee put 2 blocks under the second one using the slicer to make them stackable

Cool, I made the sides larger to be able to add a lid in a second edition - but stacking them looks beautiful! Does it not become wobbly? :)

not at all, in the slicer I've adddes 2 big squared bases that fit perfectly in the top opening of the bottom dispenser, very stable

Printed both the multipart and single part models. They came out great. I should have probably printed the larger versions but this still accomplishes my goal!

What filament did you use? You might need to dry it? It does not seem common it turns out like this
