Description

Grip with swappable tops for fast painting of figures.

Simple spring mechanism keeping the top in place when mounted on the grip.

Designed for:

ease of use
low cost
fast print

Use some easy-tac on the top to keep the figure in place.

New feature (January 30th 2025):

Hex-grid for placing and easy moving of several tops at a time (see image in gallery). Added to the print profile on a separate print plate.

Great idea and nice print. My only comment is that the individual model holders don't click onto the base rack so can fall off easily when moving. Thanks for sharing 👍

Good point. I might do a second version that clicks in place and keep the original as well. Serving both purposes of easy removal and security (if I can't do both at once). Thank you for the feedback!

Printed in pla. Used supports on the handle, although I probably didn't need too. Everything worked great!

These are great, but the hex grid doesn't seem to be in the STL files available to download?

Hi! Thanks for the question. It was added after the initial release, so if you have an old download of the 3mf file, please download a new one. Added a screenshot so that you can see where to look for the hex-grid (3rd plate) I'm gonna add a stand-alone stl as soon as possible

I like it a lot, just wish the mini fig base pieces fit a bit more snug and had less play
