I present to you: "stoppy"
the build-plate guide. my build-plate guide.
The idea is not new and has already been uploaded
BUT i could not find one that met all my requirements, being the following:
Sufficient height to stop the plates from jumping over it & perfect fitment for ease of use.
I do have to give credits to The shifty by JDJDJD & Build Plate Alignment Guides by Wiseone
as their designs brought me here.
------------------------------
The installation
- Remove all supports to guarantee perfect fitment.
- Push the front corner (I) into place first
- Then Snap the rear (II) into place.
The overall clearance is tight! but around 0.10mm at the final stop to maintain usability and easy removal
(in case necessary)
Blindfolded alignment every single time!
------------------------------
Striving for perfection with each and every design
Feedback is always very welcome!
Thx for stopping by! 😎
PD: As @milannekuhh had some trouble fitting its BentoBox, which according to Google is a Japanese lunchbox - but then turned out to be something totally different XD , I have just added a “slim version” so that this or any other Add-On for the P1P/S / X1C that sits inside the printer still has enough clearance.
