Description

Let me introduce my latest project: a bag clip for Bambu Lab filament

I use Bambu Lab filament for 3D printing and often print with various colors. As a result, I always have several open spools that need to be stored in a sealed environment. Bambu Lab spools come in vacuum-sealed bags, and you need to cut the edge of the bag to take out the spool

These bags are very wide—310 mm—and regular bag clips simply won’t work

So, I created a specialized bag clip for Bambu Lab filament. It prints as two separate halves that you slide together

Here’s how to seal the bag:

  1. Place the clip on a flat surface with the slot facing up
  2. Lay the edge of the bag over the clip
  3. Place the oval rod over the slot and bag edge
  4. Press the rod and the bag edge into the slot

This is the lightest and fastest-to-print clip I’ve designed for this purpose

If you like this model, please give it a Boost so I can continue creating practical designs!

Or you could just buy proper zip lock filament bags.

Of course you can buy zip-lock filament bags if that’s more convenient for you. I’m simply offering a solution to reuse the existing spool bags instead of throwing them away – to help improve the environment.
