Description

I got tired of tape lying around all over the place, so I designed this.

The holder is designed for 14mm diameter wooden dowels, but you can also just print the axle.

Update: I added 50mm wide spool holders, these should work with regular duct tape and package tape spools.

The design was inspired by Maker Making's tape holder, but it's an otherwise original design made by me.

I wanted to be able to hang some wider tapes (packing tape, duct tape, etc). I don't have Fusion to modify the model (because Linux), so I just scaled the both arms 250% on the Z axis. Would you consider adding some arms with additional lengths?

Done. I added spool holders for 50mm wide spools, which should work with duct tape and such. Haven't tested them yet, so let me know if there are any issues. Also, if you're interested in making your own models, I heard FreeCad isn't bad and Version 1.0 released not too long ago. It's available for Linux.

Thanks! your new STLs are about the same.size as my z-scaled prints, but they have a much nicer profile, matching the other arms. (I've started my learning journey with FreeCAD, but no tools seem a Le to import native Fusion F3D files.)

Apparently, fusion has now a browser mode that would run on linux since like last week, but it requires a professional or education account. Anyways, I am glad you're happy with the new models, and many thanks for the boost.
