So where can I start… first of all thanks so much to everyone that waited patiently and boosted previous Porsche models to reach Boosts goals.
For this model, a special one, I didn´t just wanted to release another car, this time I wanted to set to my self a benchmark, a new era of design, improving every single aspect that was possible from previous models like poor printing quality, fixing castellation and a big and important one, making this model being able to be printed by everyone with a 3D printer with or without Multicolor System.
From this point every single model I release will be based on this philosophy of print by parts, instead an all in one model, but also for those who want to reach max level of quality I´ll implement some AMS parts as you can see inside the printing profile.
REMEMBER that all the plates where nomenclature starts with “EXTRA” are only needed in case you want to print this car with AMS or in another position.
VERY IMPORTANT! I´haven´t tested Split in Half (Left-Right) Print profiles, so with those mabe tolerances change, if someone dares to print this way and any piece don´t glue or fits as should be expected, let me know and I´ll work to fix it, but at first all pieces should fit.
IMPORTANT: For this model you´ll need to use glue, some pieces (Depending on Filament used and 3D Printer) will fit perfectly in a way where mabe there´s no needed to use glue, even though I recommend you to use it :)
So after all it´s been said… Hope you enjoy your new GT3RS 992.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 992 is the ultimate track weapon, a car that blurs the line between road-going sports cars and thoroughbred race cars. Introduced in 2022, the GT3 RS pushes the limits of what is possible within the naturally aspirated 911 lineup. At its heart is a 4.0-liter flat-six engine, revving to an astonishing 9,000 rpm and delivering 525 horsepower, channelled to the rear wheels through a lightning-fast 7-speed PDK transmission. Designed with absolute performance in mind, the GT3 RS achieves a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 296 km/h, but its true focus is not on straight-line speed—it’s built for dominating corners and racetracks.
Aerodynamics are a key highlight, with active components such as the massive dual-plane rear wing, adjustable front flaps, and advanced underbody work that generate a staggering 860 kg of downforce at 285 km/h, more than double that of its predecessor. For the first time in a production Porsche, the GT3 RS features a drag reduction system (DRS) inspired by Formula 1, allowing drivers to temporarily reduce drag for higher speeds on straights or maximize downforce in corners at the push of a button. Lightweight materials are extensively used, including carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic for the hood, doors, and wing, contributing to a low curb weight of just 1,450 kg.
The GT3 RS's suspension is optimized for track use, with wider front and rear tracks, advanced adjustable dampers, and bespoke aerodynamics-focused cooling for the brakes and chassis.
The naturally aspirated engine delivers an intoxicating sound, a high-revving symphony that’s as thrilling as the car’s razor-sharp handling. Porsche's commitment to precision engineering is evident in every detail, making the GT3 RS an uncompromising track tool that still retains road-legal status. Whether carving through corners or chasing lap records, the 911 GT3 RS 992 stands as a testament to Porsche's relentless pursuit of performance, offering drivers a pure, visceral experience unmatched by anything else on the road. It is a car that embodies Porsche's racing spirit, making it a dream machine for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
