Description

The striped swirl lamp

1 Feb-25 Now with a smaller, more shelf-friendly version which is also A1 Mini compatible

Large 20x20x28cm (DxWxH)

Small 16x16x22cm (DxWxH)

Large one is designed for either E14, E27 socketholders with retainingcollars or the LED lamp kit 001

The smaller one is only compatible with a E14 socketholder with retaningcollars.

The socketholders and fastner-rings are not interchangeable between bases

I have uploaded two separate printprofiles for the large shade, one with a printprofile for a 0.8mm nozzle with 0.56mm layer height to get those fat chunky extrutions and one with 0.28mm layer height that is printable with the standard 0.4mm nozzle.

(smokey/gray lapshade is printed with 0.56mm layerheight, the white one with 0.28mm)

The smaller shade is printed with 0.28mm layerheight, also printable with the standard 0.4mm nozzle.

Assembly instructions

Large.

Everyting is included in the plate with the base, just choose which socketholder to use and which fastner-ring that corresponds to the shade you printed and glue them in. Everything is labeled so it shouldn't be any problems.

Small.

Just a few dabs of glue to the fastner-ring and the socketholder and you´re good to go!

¤¤¤ CAUTION! ALWAYS USE LED-LIGHTS!! ¤¤¤

Happy printing!

Turned out great with .8 nozzle. I turned the speed to 50% and got a slightly more translucent result. I will be switching for the e14 bulb versus the light kit (shown) for a more even light dispersal.

Had to scale it a bit down to fit under a sliping roof line. Worked super well and looks great!

what are the differences between 0.28 and 0.55 rings?

its the layerheight of the lampshades. I have uploaded two versions, one printed with 0.28mm layerheight, and one with 0.56mm layerheight. just choose the one corresponding to the shade you printed. or just test them on the shade before you glue in the ring. Should be a snug fit in all directions
