This elegant pendant lamp shade is part of a versatile series of inter-compatible shades, each with its own unique design.
The featured lantern has an approximate height of 18cm, making it perfectly suitable for printing even on the smallest Bambu Lab printers (A1 mini).

Note:

  • This model does not include the cord set holder.

Tips for Printing:

If you also encounter issues within the first 2cm of the model with warping and curling edges


        
 

After some experimentation i was able to get rid of almost all of these defects.
I got the best results with the following setup:

  1. Filament: 

    PolyTerra PLA (similar to Bambu Lab PLA Matte)

  2. Extruder temperature:

    230°C

  3. Headed bed temperature:

    30°C

I was just trying to print this with BL translucent olive and it looks like it got off pattern or something but idk what happened to the bottom part there. any ideas or tips for when I try to reprint. I just printed it the way it was designed on here, no changes

Hello :) First, thanks for the boost!🙌🏼 It seems like there are three independent issues. The fillament you are using is PETG. Unfortunately I do not have much experience with this PETG. I will try my best to help :) 1. This is definitely warping. What are your slicer settings? I would try to disable the bed heater. And increase the nozzle temperature to the maximum filament allows. 2. it seems like with your filament, the walls are too thin. you could increase the outer wall thickness in the slicer. Or what I would recommend is to increase the bottom shell layers. This way you will have two walls for whatever amount of bottom shelf layers you set. 3. I have never seen this kind of defect. Maybe the advanced flow calibration in bamboo studio could help. But I’m not sure. Cheers, Marcel

The lamp is superb I scaled it to 127% and printed it in white PETG with an E27 socket Thank you for the quick responses when I had questions about the type of socket to use following the scaling Reprint required
