Note: This is a print-in-place design. To free the two pieces and allow them to slide apart, it's easier to twist the two parts first instead of pulling them apart.
Here's another attempt at solving one of life's minor inconveniences. Silicone, reusable, bags are nice but they can be annoying to clean and, especially, dry. This little gizmo will hold the bag open allowing it to easily dry. It also collapses down so it won't take up so much room when not in use.
This can be used to dry anything from the smallest size up to 1-gallon bags. It can even be used on the disposable, single use, plastic bags (like a Ziploc) but they're more prone to flopping over, so proceed with caution. The silicone bags are a little more firm and have no problem staying upright.
This is designed as a print-in-place model and takes about 40 minutes on my X1C. When taking it off the printer, it might need a little, gentle, “twist” to separate the two pieces so they slide easily.
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any suggestions to improve the design.
