Description

This is a removeable purge bin for the X1/X1E and P1S series printers.    The chute deflects the purge material to the side bin which is easily removed for emptying.  Uses (9) 6x3 magnets to secure the chute to the rear sheet metal panel of the printer.

Thank you very much for this design ! Clever, easy to use and print well ! I'm on my third impression of the removable part (the garbage can, not the ramp) and after few removals, with no waste inside, a crack appears just after the ramp. Could you please add a reinforcement or thicken the right side (printer side) of the removable part? Or, if you prefer, provide me with the STEP or F3D file ... Whatever suits you! Many thanks in advance.

Is this the layer at where the support is applied? If so, the purge amount may need to increase to prevent contamination between filament type changes.

In fact, I've supposed the problem could be this, and print the bin with only one filament to be sure... I've print one time with PETG only, same problem. Once again with PLA Only, same problem. I've tried to printed twice, first with Generic PETG HF (eSun PETG + HF) and PLA Bambu Basic, and next PLA Basic and PETG as support, without any change, after a very little press, the side crack ...

Hello everyone, I have exactly the same problem. My first print used Sunlu PETG and now my second with Sunlu PLA+. The lower block, which should engage with the slide at the bottom, is always too thick, and if I grip the, let's call it, basket too firmly, this exact spot you showed always breaks. I love the design concept; you can always remove just one part and don't have to remove the rear section each time

Would you be able to share the STEP file? I'd like to remix it to reduce the number of magnets and increase their size. Thanks.
