Description

Store and roll your dice in the safest place of all, your own spellbook!

Keep your belongings secure inside as four magnets work to keep the cover closed, meaning your never dice fall out everywhere in your bag no matter where you may wonder! With 13 different cover variants, you can pick an emblem that best matches your style or just the class of your current character. When it's time to game, open your book of spells, reach inside, and begin rolling! No more dice rolling off the edge of the table.

Assembly Instructions

Assembly for the Dice Spellbook is quite simple. In order to begin, you'll need to print off a cover of your choice, the page insert and its two connector pieces, and four 6mmx2mm magnets.

  1. Lay out your selected cover onto a flat surface so that the inner side (the side with the four holes) is facing you.
  2. Take the two, small, cylindrical page connector pieces that should've printed with the page insert. Insert these two objects into the holes of cover where you want your page insert to lay.
  3. Line up the bottom holes of your page insert onto these connector pieces. Ensure the flat edge of the page insert (the one that doesn't have the ‘pages’ ridges) is placed so it'll hug the spine of the cover once it's folded up. I'd recommended using super glue to keep it in place after that.
  4. Insert your magnets. In my design I've made the holes snug enough so the magnets should not require glue to stay in place, but they may need a little coaxing to sit flush. In this scenario, get the magnets into place the best you can, flip your book, and press it down on the table with the palm of your hand until the magnets go into place.
  5. You're done! Have fun with your dice spellbook!

Loved it! Did some color tweaking. Didn't need superglue for the magnets, as you pointed out- though do realize my magnets are a bit weak so I wouldn't use it to actually keep the book sealed. Now half my friends want one. :P

Designs like this would really benefit from being parametric. Especially the magnet-holes, so that yo don't have to buy new magnets for each and every design that gets uploaded.

Hi there! In my experience, every model I’ve found here on makerworld used 6x2mm magnets. I too follow this model and use only 6x2 magnets in my work!
