Description

*Trailer* https://makerworld.com/en/models/1067707#profileId-1056975

*UPDATE 2* Added cut version of the frame for easier access to the lower front links. Other frame and carrier are in the STL file list

*UPDATE* Added Motor Guard for some protection on tumbles backwards and upside down. Files are located under the "Download Stl" tab

The Wedge! A work in progress, and ready to hear anyone's input.

Printed in PLA at 100% infill

50mm Brass bent front links on the bottom. Deadbolt front carrier driveshaft to motor. The rear carrier driveshaft to axle is a little harder to get right, ended up with a deadbolt rear splined side and a c10 tube side i believe. 50mm Rear Injora shocks and 39mm oil filled Injoras on the front

5th Wheel is for an m3 hex bolt.

hope it works good for you! Its still a work in progress and can be changed with peoples input and suggestions. certain parts were printed in certain orientations for dimensions and strength. my printer over here is abit finnicky with dimensions and prints

This looks like a fantastic project and design, and looking forward to building and maybe building some printable accessories or options. Before I print, would like to source everything else that is needed to build. Do you have a suggested parts & hardware list for people wanting to build, as well as other high level thoughts around the design?

hey! thanks for the comment. Parts List: Bolt Kit/Screws Carrier Bearing - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0C74V3FF2?ie=UTF8&;th=1 Carrier Bearing Shaft - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0BM452GDR?ie=UTF8&;psc=1 The "Carrier Bearing" can be the shaft from a transmission and the two bearings, but the problem with using the transmission shaft is it has a gear pressed onto it that i never managed to figure out how to remove. Pancake style motor - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0D9QB39WD?ie=UTF8&;th=1 any motor may work, I assume a brushed motor would stick out weirdly with such a large skid angle and potentially hit the rear links/driveshaft Links - used 50mm bent brass links on the lower front. I can happily upload stronger and different length links for the front so people can try different options. Driveshafts - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09DPPJYYX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&;psc=1 Deadbolt front driveshaft as the rear driveshaft. I believe gladiator rear driveshaft as the most rear driveshaft. but might be forgetting as it was a bit finnicky to get the 50mm rear shocks to work with a driveshaft front driveshaft is from a c10 front driveshaft. but other lengths can work with different front link lengths. Shocks are front 40mm big bore - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0D9B2QZLP?ie=UTF8&;psc=1 and 50mm double barrels in the rear. id assume it works good with 40mm in the rear too just haven't had time to test and refine the design. love any input and suggestions! have fun printing and crawling
