Description

Knitted Snail of Love.

A bit slow, but persistent :)

Advice

The heart should fit without glue. Use a little force to apply it to the snail's back

In print profile there are two versions - symmetrical and with tilted head.

To color use AMS or paint it by hand.

Love it, very cute but I'm mid print right now and just thinking that it's crazy how many filament changes are required just because of the eyes. Would it be possible to create a version where the eyes and heart antenna could be glued in separately so we could print by object and save the filament? I ask because right now, there is more filament flushed and put into the tower than filament put in the actual model. (precisely there is 20.86g flushed, 11.49g in tower, and 14.25g in the actual object, meaning that there is over 32g of filament wasted and only 15.73g actually used in the end result when printing two of the snails on the same plate)

Change the color of the eyes in the slicer to the snail color and you can color/ paint yourself after the print is done. Or just leave them the color of the snail body.

Yes, that's definitely an option but a less enjoyable one. I'd rather let the printer print out things separately and do other things with my time rather than painting. I have fairly unsteady hands so I would likely mess up trying to paint

I as well prefer when the eye's or any small part can be printed seperately, unfortunately a lot of the designers do not give you that option. When they do not, I make the eye's the same color as the body.
