Description

The pictures show the process of assembling the sharpener. The sharpener itself can be mounted on a drill and on a biax. Use the sharpener at low speed (a drill that has a speed adjustment), to avoid overheating of the knife. In addition to the printed parts, you also need a screw and a nut M6 x80 or M6x100mm. You can sharpen all kinds of knives, cleavers, axes ... Printing is simple and fast. I printed with ABS filament and you can optionally print with another one (PLA, PETG), just increase the filling.

Thank you and happy printing.

Replying to @cpshoff :
There are a handful of reasons: - Flap wheels are super coarse grit and thus will grind back your edge very quickly. You will be losing life on the knife with every sharpening - It will be very hard to sharpen the heel of your knives without destroying your handle. - You probably wont even get the edge that sharp with this. - There are just a ton of better options out there.

Jmaicn is correct. not good for your knives. for. those looking for reasons, most flap discs are to heavy in grit, avg 40grit. you eat your knife. you’ll also destroy the edge profile, all sharp objects have 2 bevels, the slope of the blade and the degree of the edge. the edge should be around 19deg, this is determined by its use, general all around use is 19deg. another reason is the lack of safety features you can and mostly likely hurt yourself, the designer of this profile should remove this object for the sake of the public who don’t know better. DONT DOWNLOAD OR PRINT THIS PLEASE. source: I’m a veteran, firefighter, medic, and an experienced in the woods. thanks
